CalSAC's Spotlight on Afterschool Conference

For over 25 years, the California School-Age Consortium has offered out-of-school time professionals a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and be supported at our annual CalSAC Spotlight on Afterschool Conference.  Working with children and youth after the school bell rings takes on many forms (afterschool, school-age child care, latchkey, parks and recreation, etc) and this is  the conference for you!  Come build an OST community and continue to move our field forward together at the CalSAC Spotlight on Afterschool Conference.

We have reopened our proposal process. In this second round request for proposals, we are ONLY seeking and reviewing submissions on the following topics:

• Administration, Supervision & Management- including grant writing, consulting, mentoring
• Community Partnerships - including donations and volunteer recruitment

• Hands-on math, science, engineering and technology

• Music - making instruments, drumming, computers & composing/recording
• Visual Arts - printmaking, multi-media, sculpture
• Recreation
• Middle School and High School focused - including youth clubs, special programming
• Literacy for grades 3 and up
• Supervision of Children & Youth
• Brain Development
